Port Coquitlam bars and pubs hosting Super Bowl events
Reservations are recommended as local bars and pubs are already making plans for the big game on February 12th.
With Super Bowl Sunday on February 12 fast approaching, the Tri-Cities’ pubs and sports bars are now planning for the big day.
In 2021, pubs and bars across BC have been warned not to do anything special due to the spread of COVID-19.
Now local establishments are back in business and some new restaurants have opened – offering a convivial atmosphere of food, spirits and sports for those keen to share the experience with fellow football fans.
And if you want to join in the fun, you’d better call ahead as most companies recommend making a reservation for the big game.
For example, at Fremont Village in Port Coquitlam, St. Louis Bar and Grill, a new Wings venue, is promoting a wing and beer special as part of the Canadian company’s 30-year Super Bowl tradition.
St. Louis is also promoting the use of its app to pre-order wings with a five-pound wing panel for $59.99.
Meanwhile, a massive Superbowl menu is planned at Taphouse Coquitlam (405 North Rd.), including a Statefarm Stadium Taco Bar.
The reference is to the venue, State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, where the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will face off in Super Bowl LVII.
