The Brain and Behavior section includes pioneering research on neuromodulation in typical and atypical populations, biomarker development, and the gut-brain axis. The future of psychology in Surrey is supported by ongoing investments in our people and infrastructure; For example, we recently opened our 6-room extended reality (XRL) simulation room to enable exciting opportunities for novel research (including mobile tES/EEG/fNIRS) in cognitive neuroscience and other fields, as well as two observation suites. .
