Some Of The ‘World’s Best Places To Work’ Are Hiring In Canada & There Are Remote Positions

Ready for a new challenge? A new report has ranked the top 20 best places to work in the world, and some of these companies are actually hiring in Canada right now.
The Best Places to Work organization announced Jan. 4 the full list of the best companies for 2022, which includes many key players in healthcare and technology.
To be included in this list, companies must first be identified as great employers on at least one of the continents.
Companies in the ranking must also have “demonstrated excellence in the workplace” by creating “differentiated employee experiences and inclusive cultures,” all of which have led to better business outcomes.
“[These] Businesses know how to build a competitive advantage regardless of potential barriers, including company size, geographic distribution and industry characteristics,” the report adds.
The company that will take the top spot as the world’s best place to work in 2022 is Novo Nordisk, a global healthcare company.
Another global healthcare company, Takeda, followed suit. And as luck would have it, Takeda is hiring in Canada.
At the time of publication, the company had eight positions open, ranging from Senior Supply Chain Analyst to HR Business Leader. While most are based in Toronto, the role of transplant care partner is listed as distant.
Next on the list is American tech company Dell. The employer is also currently hiring in Canada, with over 20 positions available, many of which are remote to begin with. At the moment, Canucks is open to applications for software developer roles, senior manager roles, and even sales internships.
Pharmaceutical company MSD (or Merck & Co. as it is known in the US and Canada) was named fourth. Though its hiring goals aren’t as big as others on the list, it’s looking for a new director of network projects, as well as a senior scientist if you think that might be you.
Another company that ranks in the top 20 places to work in the world – and that is hiring in Canada – is Astra Zeneca, which has a whopping 58 open positions. There are positions in multiple locations, including Ontario, Quebec and BC, spanning management, customer service and sales, and healthcare.
French multinational Safran and manufacturing company Hilti, which came in ninth and tenth respectively, also have job openings in Canada listed on their websites, with more work-from-home opportunities.
